Tolerase® G – trademarked enzyme formula

Targeted protein breakdown The trademarked ingredient is a prolyl oligopeptidase belonging to the family of protein-degrading enzymes, specifically developed to recognise proline-rich protein segments and break them down into smaller parts.

Stability in an acidic environment Tolerase® G remains stable in the acidic environment characteristic of the stomach and retains its enzyme activity. As a result, it can begin to act already in the early stages of digestion.

Advanced production, practical application The enzyme is produced using an advanced fermentation process with a special strain of the Aspergillus niger fungus, in accordance with European Union legislation.

Controlled and authorised ingredient The protein-degrading prolyl oligopeptidase enzyme in Tolerase® G was assessed by EFSA and found to be safe under the specified conditions of use. The European Commission subsequently authorised its use in food supplements under EU legislation, specifically in the case of the enzyme preparation produced using the specified strain of Aspergillus niger. This targeted EU authorisation, linked to the enzyme and its method of production, makes the active ingredient unique.

Complementary role, with clear boundaries It can be incorporated into the diet as a food supplement; however, it does not replace a gluten-free diet. It cannot be used for the treatment or prevention of coeliac disease or any other disease.

Take 1 capsule with a glass of water right before each meal which may contain gluten. Tolerance to gluten is variable, we recommend seeking advice as to the role of this substance in your diet. Do not exceed the recommended dosage!
